In 2014, while pioneering the Customer Data Platform (CDP) category, I watched companies make strides in CX or GTM with data collection & unification, only to confront a new obstacle: data that wasn’t activation-ready, decision-ready, nor suited for operators or AI Ready towards GTM (Go to Market) Plays.
Fast forward to 2023, and even in a post Agentic- AI world, GTM Operators still express the same frustration. "We are overwhelm with data & signals, but can’t trust or use it easily for operating decisions,” they tell us. “Our data is static or unusable quality and surely not AI-ready, hence no GTM Decision Intelligence.” These issues are compounded by a system where every data question must go through overwhelmed data teams, creating bottlenecks that slow the entire organization.
